What do I need for a perfect summer holidays?

Hello!

So, it’s summer again, yay! No more pullovers, long jeans  and fuzzy socks, finally. When it comes to picking my favourite part of a year, I would definitely say that summer holidays are somewhere on the top. But what do I need to make the most out of them? I’ve came up with a short list of my ”Summer Essentials”, I hope you’ll find it interesting and maybe even useful.

A BOOK

I am a true bookworm and  in a need of a book or two constantly by my side. This summer, I’m already loving All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven, and I’m looking forward to reading Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins, which is a well-rated and pretty new thriller. But I will soon be publishing a few blog posts, basically lists about books of different genres that I would recommend you to read it, that’s why I won’t go into details right here. So stay tuned!

iPOD and HEADPHONES

Music is a huge part of  my life. And of course I take it with me wherever I go, whether is this in a foreign county or just on my couch. Currently, my favourite song has to be Up and Up by Coldplay, I just think their music is awesome! But I have a feeling that we will listen to a lot of This Is What You Came For by Calvin Harris and Rihanna – though due to a breakup, Taylor Swift will probably release a new hit soon, and of course, I can’t wait to hear it.

WRECK THIS JOURNAL (author: Keri Smith)

It’s technically a book, so I’m kind of cheating. But for those who aren’t familiar with a concept of it – it’s a book that you destroy with completing different artistic assignments, for example ”Pick up the journal without using your hands” or ”Draw fat lines and thin, pushing really hard with a pencil”. It’s dedicated to perfectionists all over the world, and I’m a huuge one, so I decided to give it a try.
